The Celal Sultan Hotel is located in the most ancient part of central Istanbul, the former capital city of the Byzantine and Ottoman empires. The hotel offers an exquisite stay in an elegant and stylish environment. This charming hotel opened in 1996 and until recently was an ancient townhouse which has now been tastefully renovated. Facilities include a restaurant serving Turkish cuisine, lobby bar, elevator and 24 hour room service. The top floor terrace provides a magnificent view over the Sea of Bosphorus and the renowned mosque of Aya Sofia. Within a five minute walk of the hotel are the most important historical monuments of the city, including the Blue Mosque and Topkapi Palace.
